Accessibility Statement

What we have built into this site so it can be used without a mouse or with assistive technology, what we know is imperfect, and how to tell us if something blocks you.

1. What we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, which is also the requirement EN 301 549 carries into European procurement. We treat that as a working target rather than a claim of certified conformance, and we would rather tell you where we fall short than publish a conformance badge.

2. What is built in

  • Every interactive control is a real button or link, reachable and operable by keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline.
  • The connector explorer and the 3D selector follow the published ARIA patterns for tabs, so screen reader users get the structure rather than a list of unlabelled controls.
  • Content that updates in place — result counts, readouts, process descriptions — is announced through live regions rather than changing silently.
  • A skip link jumps past the navigation to the main content.
  • Text sits at contrast ratios meeting AA against the dark background, and the layout reflows to 320px without horizontal scrolling.
  • Animation is suppressed for anyone whose system requests reduced motion. Nothing on the site auto-plays sound or flashes.
  • Decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology; the harness diagram carries a text description of what it shows.

3. Known limitations

We would rather list these than let you find them:

  • The 3D connector viewer is inherently visual. Rotating a model needs a pointer or touch. Everything the model conveys — dimensions, variants, mating cables, applications — is also given as text beneath it, and we will send a STEP file or datasheet on request.
  • Variant tables scroll horizontally on a narrow screen.
  • Typefaces are self-hosted and load with the page, so text may still render briefly in a fallback face on a very slow connection before the web font arrives.

4. If something blocks you

Email contact@astratechsolutions.in and tell us what you were trying to do and what got in the way. We will reply within 5 working days, and we will give you the information you were after by another route straight away rather than making you wait for the fix.

No enquiry has to go through this website. A phone call or an email reaches the same people.
